Change

Change is a song I wrote for two good friends who were going through a rough period in their lives, struggling with drug abuse and alcoholism, money, and relationships.  This song shows some of the impacts our choices have on our loved ones. 

Tired

I wrote this song when my wife and I were living in the Dominican Republic, we had been working as youth workers with teens. Tthis song was how I saw some of their struggles and just how tiring and emotional their battles were to get through.

Alone

When I went away to college, I went through a time where I felt really alone. One day I was sitting on the couch working on a love song; guitar in hand, and my dad called me to see how I was doing. I was struggling at the time and I had a great heart-to-heart with him. When we hung up the phone this song is what came out.

Something About Her

Not a whole lot of depth in this song, I just wanted to write something upbeat and fun! 
Of course, I think of my beautiful, fun lovely wife every time I play it, and can definitely say that she was the inspiration for it.

Dark

Once again working with youth we saw many of their struggles and battles and tried our best to help steer them through unscathed. Many went through dark periods and didn’t know where they belonged, worried about what their peers thought or saw, afraid to stand up for truth and for themselves, For who they are and what they believe in.

Be With You

When I met my wife I had a few love songs in my repertoire of originals and she used to always tease me about writing one for her, I didn’t for a long time, but when I decided to marry her, this is the song that I wrote (and sang) to her when I proposed, (she said yes, lol) I wanted to put it on the album first for her so that she can listen to it whenever she wants and second... just because I like it!
